Pollution Symphony

In collaboration with Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival, over the course of two days in February 2017, we’ve curated four concerts with Jenny Hval, Utena Kobayashi, Oorutaichi and Frode Haltli, two documentary film showings by Hungarian-Norwegian filmmaker Istvan Kovacs, and a concurrent exposition of photos and original objects related to the music of Arne Nordheim and his work at the 1970 world fair in Osaka, trailing the rise of modernism in Norway right up to the current experimental music scene in Japan.
